Elevate, the world’s largest free personal development community for professionals at every level of the events industry, marked its 10th birthday on Friday 7 November with a party at Protein Studios. Mentors and mentees old and new came together to celebrate a decade of impact.
Led by industry change-makers Melissa Noakes, Max Fellows and Peter Kerwood, Elevate is free to join and has been designed with one goal in mind: to inspire, inform and empower people across the sector.
Through mentoring, training and peer support, Elevate helps people at every stage of their career build skills, confidence and new opportunities, bringing together a community that spans the industry from emerging talent to CEOs and founders, as well as creative directors, venue and client managers, brand experience directors, event managers, freelancers and strategists – all united by a commitment to learning, sharing and support.
Elevate co-founder Melissa Noakes reflected: “Since launching in 2015, Elevate has supported hundreds of people, delivered thousands of hours of mentoring support and built a global network of event talent from across the industry. Over the last decade we have seen mentees step into leadership roles, mentors give back to the next generation, new ventures launched, connections made and an industry come together to lift each other up.”
Elevate co-founder Max Fellows added: “Ten years ago, Elevate began with a simple belief that the events industry is stronger when we support each other. As we mark this ten-year milestone, we are proud of what we have achieved and grateful to all the people and businesses that power Elevate. We have so many exciting things planned for 2026.
